Rehabilitation Centre and Holding Ground

We will establish a state-of-the-art rehabilitation centre and holding ground where rescued wild animals will receive specialised care and rehabilitation in a safe environment.

Recovered animals will be re-introduced to the wilderness in Wami Mbiki Game Reserve and other protected areas, which will benefit the areas in terms of abundance and diversity of wildlife species.

...AND MORE TO COME!

JOIN OUR
MISSION

Want to join our conservation mission? We need skilled experts and volunteers to launch.

Our conservation efforts, rehabilitation centre, and clinic will be situated within the vast expanse of Wami Mbiki Game Reserve in eastern Tanzania. This reserve itself spans almost 250,000 hectares, serving as a vital wildlife corridor for a variety of species that migrate through year-round.

WAMI MBIKI GAME RESERVE

TAWA has provided us with 4500 acres within Wami Mbiki Game Reserve. This is where our first project will take place.

CONSERVATION BACKED BY THE TANZANIAN GOVERNMENT

Wild Rescue Tanzania, in collaboration with The Tanzania Wildlife Management Authority (TAWA), is pioneering a comprehensive conservation approach in Tanzania by introducing a wildlife rescue program and centre dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and ultimately releasing abandoned, sick, and orphaned wild animals from Tanzania's mainland.
